Walling stone in
cream and honey colours
A major classic characteristic of the Cotswold countryside are the unique and beautiful dry stone walls that are often centuries years old. The creamy to honey coloured stone walls adorn the hills, highways and rolling landscape throughout the County and further afield alongside complimenting major Cotswold style developments, landscaping schemes and increasingly major construction projects for facing gabion baskets.
Guiting Walling Stone is hand-picked at source and available either loose per ton or in bulk bags. 1 Tonne of walling stone should be able to cover 2 face metres of walling on a single skin wall or 1 face metre double skinned. [1m high wall].
The Johnston Quarry Group also supply dry walling stone from Flick Quarry at Rollright near the historic Rollright Stones and Oxfordshire market town of Chipping Norton. The walling stone has its own unique characteristics and subtle tones and is well known for its durability when used in many construction or landscaping applications.
Bulk delivery of loose stone by tipper vehicles or Hi Ab off loads for bulk bags can also be arranged.
