Johnston Quarries operate two quarries throughout the UK producing over 500,000 tonnes per annum of high quality quarried aggregates.
Aggregates are the most commonly used construction minerals in the UK. Used within the construction industry they are essential for maintaining the infrastructure on which our society depends so much on.
The aggregates we supply are Primary aggregates which are produced from naturally occurring mineral deposits and are extracted specifically for use as aggregates and are used for the first time. Our aggregates are of high strength and durability with low water absorption or porosity.
Lincolnshire aggregates
We operate two quarries in Lincolnshire – Creeton Quarry at Counthorpe near Grantham, and Ropsley Quarry at Long Hollow near Ropsley, both of which produce hard Jurassic limestone aggregates.
We offer a range of aggregates from crushed aggregates to graded aggregates on a delivered or collected basis.
For bulk collection we have a minimum order quantity of 10 tonnes.
Aggregates can be supplied in bulk bags, with a minimum order of just 1 tonne.
We work with a range of customers supplying aggregates to construction companies, local councils, builders merchants, housebuilders and civil engineering companies to name but a few.
What area do we service?
